Use the parish library. There is good stuff in there.

I just wanted to tell you how incredible your website is. After working for the Catholic Church for over 20 years, I have had the opportunity to see many websites and many parish publications. I have to say your's is the best! Keep up the good work.

Anne McAuliffe Freeman, Tue Nov 06 2007, 10:48am

Hello St. John the Evangelist Parish.  What a beautiful faith community you have.  You seem to be growing by leaps and bounds.  I really enjoy your website.  It is wonderful to be able to stay connected.  Gary and I have been up Oscoda for 4 years now and it is a lot slower pace.  It took some adjustment but we believe it to be a healthier pace that God has intended for us.  We have 4 grandchildren now.  Gil and Noell with 2 girls and 1 boy and Eric and Leslie  with 1 boy.  It sure is fun being up here to share al this wilderness with them.  We caught grasshopppers and moths this summer,  went fishing, swimming, swinging, sliding, and Adam went skateboarding at skateboard park. in town.  If you are ever upnorth, feel free to stop in and visit.  We are one mile south of Lumberman's monument on Shady Lane. Gary's shop is in town on US23 if you ever need a haircut or would like him to serenade you on the piano - or just want to visit with him.  We will be celebrating 20 years of marriage in June.     Give our very best to one and all.  You remain in our daily prayers.  Thank you Father Andrew for returning the Love that God has bestowed on you to so many near and far.       J.M.J.T.   Anne McAuliffe Freeman, O.C.D.S.

Not living in Davison since 1975  This web site keeps me in touch with St John and Davison.  A part of me will always be back at the parish and Davison.  I really enjoy spending time on this site

thanks

Viewing so many of the sites in this website makes me think of one thing - after moving out of Davison in 1978 and seeing all of the changes that have happened since, St John's still feels like home.  I do miss it.

Father Andy - I do miss your "hellfire and brimstone" sermons.  ; - )

Lisa Clouse, Mon Sep 25 2006, 01:55pm

I visited your church today for the first time and was pleasantly surprised.  What a wonderfully active parish.  Another thing that impressed me was the reverence and beauty of the church.  I look forward to spending more time there.

We just now found this site. You can't know what it has meant to us to find this site. We miss you all and with we were there to share with you the joys of Christian fellowship. Hopefully we'll see you all soon.

Can you believe that I am sitting here in Taiwan checking the website from home?  What excitement.  The kids are in a Chinese class so I am in the library.  I don't dare move or they will never find me.  Not everyone speaks English!!!!!

Lily and Sammy, Wed Jul 12 2006, 07:28am

Hello Father Andrew,  - we have just returned home to Northern Ireland  after spending 3 glorious weeks in your country.  The people were so friendly and we were delighted to have got to meet so many of them, including yourself.  We spent some time also with  our dear friends Rosie and Bernie Tholl - and they looked after us so well - They are two of the nicest people we know. We would like to thank Rosie and Bernie  for their kindness and your good self Father, for your lovely welcome. God Bless you all.    Lily and Sammy Steen - Belfast. N.I.

It was a pleasure to listen to Trevor Foster's testimony. Trevor and his family hold a special place in my heart. Altho, I live a few states away, I had the honor of attending St. John's Church in the past which inspired me to visit the web site occasionally.   Truly a beautiful church, great web site and  GREAT GIFT SHOP! Blessings to all.

Norma Byrne, Wed Apr 26 2006, 09:25am

I wanted to hear Trevor Foster's voice and hear his testimony. I truly enjoyed looking through the site. I have seen a few church sites and think this one is extremely well done. Thank you for making it so easy to negotiate around.

Lois, Tue Apr 25 2006, 03:45pm

Very nice and enjoyable to see

Barbara Wear, Tue Apr 25 2006, 03:05pm

I was so glad to listen to Trevor Foster's testimony.  I belong to Rosie Tholl's Prayer Pals and we have been praying for Trevors's conversion to Catholicism.  I have met Trevor and in some small way am glad to be a part of his life and his family. I live in Massachusetts but feel such a connection to the Tholl family.
