The installation of our new Bishop, Bishop Earl Boyea is complete. Father Andrew along with Cardinals Maida and Szoka from Detroit and Rome, Papal Nuncio Archbishop Pietro Sambi, six additional archbishops, 24 bishops, 350 priests, numerous sisters, deacons, pastoral coordinators, lay ecclesial ministers,and representatives from the 97 parishes of our diocese were in attendance at the recent installation ceremony held at St. Thomas Aquinas in East Lansing.
Bishop Boyea is the fifth bishop to preside over the Lansing Diocese since its formation in 1937.
